Thursday 18th March – Poster submission Posted by: melissa
Two important sessions:-
1.Students who have had CS have handed in their essay by now. This means you have had a least one or two days to design a utopian/dystopian poster inspired from the fast paced studio day last Thursday. Deadline is 11.00am – each society/group should be represented by a poster. All should attend.
2. Friday’s session about writing evaluation (as shown on the timetable) will be moved to Thurdsay afternoon. All students need to attend as it is an important introduction to “The Brief” and prepares you for writing a proposal of independent practice.

CS essays- Richard Hamilton exhibition Posted by: luke
Anyone doing an essay on Richard Hamilton or on anything connected with pop art and the 1960s ought to go the Serpentine Gallery where there is an exhibition of Hamilton’s work, I think its mainly about recent work but it would still be very relevant. There is no substitute for looking at the work in the flesh, pigment or pixels, at the original size etc. Serpentine Gallery is in Hyde Park at the Albert Hall end, tube to South Kensington or 52 bus from Victoria.
There will also be a lot of useful research material on the walls and in the gallery shop
